Question: Do you sell the building as a kit or sell a set of detailed plans? Answer: We do not offer this option due to the complicated design of the building. There are just too many cuts, most of which involve a radius or an angle. The structural design of the building does not allow for a kit because its strength comes from the interlocking of all components. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: What are the dimensions of the building? Answer: The buildings size is one of its biggest misconceptions. We play a game with the proportions of the building. The actual height to the peak of the building is 13’6”, with an outside width of 6’ where the building contacts the ground. In the interior of the building the width widens to around 8’6” at shoulder height. All buildings are the same width regardless of length. The buildings length can vary, we currently offer an 8’, 10’, and 12’ building. The building length is measured at its full outside dimensions (from overhang to overhang), for shipping purposes. The actual inside finished dimensions of an 8’ building is 6’3” for non-insulated and 5’8” for the insulated version. Actual inside dimensions of a 10’ building is 7’8”, while 9’8” is the inside dimension of the 12’ building. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: Are the buildings insulated? Answer: All buildings can be insulated. Saunas and guest cottages are usually insulated, while garden sheds usually are not. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: Are the buildings wired? Answer: All buildings come standard with an inside and an outside light. Two double outlets are also included in each building. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: Do all buildings have a chimney? Answer: Yes, all buildings come with a chimney, its part of the signature look of the building. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: Do the windows open? Answer: Yes, each building comes with two windows, one in the front and one in the back, both open. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: Do the windows have screens? Answer: Screens are not standard, but are an add-on option. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: What is required for a foundation? Answer: Concrete pads are sufficient when leveled and placed in each corner; however a sauna will need a full slab with a drain system. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: How much does a building weigh? Answer: An 8’ garden shed will average around 2,800 lbs., while a 10’ fully finished guest cottage will weigh around 4,600 lbs. ______________________________________________________________________ Question: How do you ship the buildings? Answer: The buildings are built to be boomed or craned from trailer to final resting place. During transport the buildings are laid down on there side on a flatbed trailer, to allow for overpasses. _______________________________________________________________________ Question: How much does shipping cost? Answer: Shipping costs can vary due to building size and destination. Larger buildings can also require permits, which are an additional charge.
